                               RESOLUTION NO. 19139
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INTERIM
                   ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
                   WORKS TO CONTRACT WITH EUGENE BOWMAN,
                   APPRAISER, TO PERFORM AN APPRAISAL OF
                   FIFTEEN (15) TRACTS PLUS FIVE (5) ADD-ON
                   TRACTS AND ONE POSSIBLE CONDEMNATION
                   RELATIVE TO ACQUISITION OF SEWER EASEMENTS
                   FOR DAYTONA HEIGHTS COLLECTION SYSTEM,
                   CONTRACT NO. 76, FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
                   SEVEN THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($7,000.00) WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL. 
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Interim Administrator of the
       Department of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to 
contract
       with Eugene Bowman, Appraiser, to perform an appraisal of Fifteen 

       (15) tracts plus five (5) add-on tracts and one possible
       condemnation relative to acquisition of sewer easements for
       Daytona Heights Collection System, Contract No. 76, for an amount 

       not to exceed $7,000.00 without prior approval.  This amount
       includes $5,000.00 for appraisals and $2,000.00 for condemnation
       services if necessary.
